Internet-finity War
The unfiltered crisis regarding the Truth Social launch • Big Government, Big Tech and the Legacy Media unite against Elon Musk • How the fight for a level online playing field really is the Endgame
• We’re in the Endgame now… Well, almost.
Since 2015, we have witnessed the slow burn of free speech, online maneuverability and the amplification of anything that remotely resembles the nationalist, populist movement. With the rise of MAGA and its conservative rebranding, we have unwillingly accepted major suppression and even scorched earth-like tactics at levels never before seen, and over a vast array of platforms. The Guardians of the Narrative have used tactics that include - having the ability to monetize through pay walls, fake fact checking across every social media platform, the crushing of the conservative narrative with the assistance of mainstream media and legacy print press, and the weaponization of our Federal Law Enforcement Agencies (like the FBI and DOJ), up through the Office of the President (you forgot about the Biden / Psaki Tic Tok Summit, didn’t you). As nationalism was reborn in the United States, with its push that that combatted the one-world government agenda that was initiated during the Obama years via the players at Davos and in the EU, those in the America First movement (from political figures to top journalists and pundits and even your average, everyday citizen) have endured every war in the battle for social media supremacy the likes we have never seen before.
But we know all of this, for the most part; it’s no longer about the “then” or the “how” we got here - this is about the, what are we doing about it on the frontlines and how are we going to achieve a real redemption in the face of the global censorship mafia? We do have options, but even those are both limited and are going to require some real teamwork to eventually accomplish. This is an Avergers level threat.
• Truth Social
Everyone who’s anyone thought with the announcement of Truth Social (the Donald Trump-backed social media platform) that conservative voices may in time, be heard again, via a freer and fairer social media experience. We were also told that the man behind the mean tweets would be there as well, in what the base could assume would be Trump in peak shitposting form, a la 2020. That was back in February of 2021, we are currently on the back end of April 2022 and up to this point, we have received neither in regards to the original TS assurances.
So, what is the deal going on over at Truth Social? Well, there seems to be a less than encouraging narrative emulating from the core of matter; complete with several of the same issues we that have come to learn are going on with Trump’s inner circle at Mar-a-Lago regarding money, events, endorsements, etc. In the past few weeks three of the major players in the creation, marketing, development and roll-out of Truth Social have walked away. Josh Adams, who most considered the “brains” of the operation at TS, Billy Boozer, who was key in managing tech infrastructure and development and Lori Heyer, the chief legal officer have in some context taken indefinite leave or have abandoned the still beta-launched project. That is what is known, what isn’t might just be more problematic.
After speaking in great length to an insider connected directly to Trumpworld, the consensus is that all three of the aforementioned major players want back in. The claims are that too much of the control down at Truth Social is being left in the hands of Rumble. Anyone with a good grasp on social media are well aware that Rumble is garbage. With its shadow banning, removing of content, forced unfollows, etc. it’s literally the less crappy version of YouTube and everyone knows it. Apparently, Chris Pavlovski the creator of Rumble has secured the ear (and possibly the trust) of the CEO of Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG) Devin Nunes in what those insiders are calling a purposeful slowdown and sabotaging of the app.
They claim that Pavlovski and his team are assuring Nunes that the long wait lists, lack of active features, audio and video glitches and lack of direct messaging are completely normal for the soft rollout that TS is claiming to be in the midst of, however that is not the case. These insiders point to those items and more as purposeful delays that are in attempt to rank the app and its intended purpose is. There’s also claims that a large portion of this joint venture (if not all of it) between TMTG and Rumble are going to be backed-up and hosted via the Amazon Cloud (yes that Amazon) which for all of the patriots in the room should be horrifying to say the least. What wasn’t confirmed to me was whether or not Nunes was completely in the know of it all, and if so, why is he defending or protecting Pavlovski and his team at Rumble? Those answers are yet to be determined however, in a recent interview with Newsweek last week, Nunes stood his ground and was defensive -
"Bottom line is it's the fastest-growing social media company in history. There hasn't been one that has grown faster,"
Which may or may not be the case. Truth is still only available to Apple users, there is not release date for an Android app (or 40% of all cell-carrying Americans) or full-featured launch (complete with a desktop version), while still only being available to download domestically. What I do know after speaking with several linked closely to the app is that Boozer, Adams and Heyer all understand what is at stake here with Truth Social and if you haven’t realized it yet, allow me to paint you the grimmest of pictures.
Donald Trump was elected in 2016 for one reason and one reason only: He was championed as a D.C. outsider and successful businessman who was going to take the country (which was quite the mess) and get it back on the right track. Regardless of what you think of Donald Trump the man, or the meaness level of his tweets, what policies you liked or what he was actually able to accomplish throughout the course of his presidency, that stigma of who he is and what he’s done is still to this day is a large portion of the Donald Trump package - the true outsider that was going to drain the swamp and run the county line he did his successful businesses.
If Truth Social can’t turn its problem- laden launch around fast, this will be pinned as the largest red flag on Trump’s potential reelection campaign in the 2024 presidential race. The radical, progressive left will use every tool in their arsenal to weaponize the failure of TS and combine that with the fact that he is no longer an outsider after having served four years in the Oval. This will allow the left to avoid the real issues currently facing the nation and force Trump to go on the record and defend himself and his business in the face of a potential challenger that will hold an unfair but self-induced leverage over the 45th President. The ship that is Truth Social cannot course-correct itself and fast, we may see a ripple effect that begins as soon as this year’s midterm elections and will for sure be made a central issue of the 2024 election season.
• The Uncanny Elon Musk
In recent weeks, man behind Tesla, Space X and the largest holder of U.S. defense contracts, Elon Musk has come under fire from every angle and from some of the most unlikely of characters. Not to do with his quest to put a man on Mars, or because of his dabbling into AI and transhumanism (all major red flags), but for his attempt to level the social media playing field via his bid to straight buy and privatize the social media giant Twitter. Everyone from the MSM, the Saudi Royaly family, the U.S. Justice Department and Silicon Valley have been exposed in their bias for how they have responded to Musk briefly becoming the largest shareholder of Twitter, before initiating a cash offer that would allow him to buy the company.
In response to Musk’s move, we have seen Vanguard step up to overtake Elon in the place of majority shareholder and placed limits on what he could buy in the future (set at 15% from his current position). The current CEO of Twitter also uninvited Musk to sit on their board of directors (as Twitter doled our sick days for mental anguish at the notion of Musk coming aboard). And we have seen everyone who is anyone that is not a moderate or a conservative come out publicly to criticize the move and fear porn the American public into thinking that a free and fair social media platform like Twitter would be worse than Pearl Harbor, 9/11 and January 6th combined.
The board and stakeholders would then invoke the poison pill last week, opening themselves up to both scrutiny and investigations onto why Musk’s offer ($54.20 per share to be precise) isn’t a prudent one for investors even at an over 40% current market value of Twitter, which is what Elon’s initial offer was filed at.
It didn’t take too long for Florida Governor, Ron DeSantis to weigh in, stating this week that since there are Florida state-level employees who’s retirements allow them to invest in the stock market (like a TSP), that Twitter turning down such a lucrative offer negatively affects the retirements investments of aforementioned state workers and he is opening an investigation into the logistics of the declined Musk bid to ensure that there is fair market transparency regarding this suspect move. I don’t know personally if this act will continue to nudge the current offer that is on the table, however, it will continue to shed light on the corrupt business entity surrounding the social media apparatus.
Musk is by no means finished with Twitter and in my opinion, unless he simply gets bored with the slowed process, he is going to end up owning the whole damn thing. His “Plan B” was revealed earlier this week, in what is to come following the oversight into the rejection of his initial deal.
While Twitter continues to try and do damage control behind the scenes, looking for safety in the Silicon Valley based buyer option through the technology-focused, private equity firm conglomerate, Thoma Bravo, Elon is preparing a more “hostile” move to secure Twitter once and for all. In sampling pieces from Reuters and the New York Post this week,
“Elon Musk is planning to launch a (love me) tender offer in about 10 days and has tapped Morgan Stanley to raise another $10 billion in debt, according to sources directly related to the matter.
Musk may also be willing to borrow against his current stake, if necessary, a move that could possibly raise several billion additional dollars”, according to separate piece, the New York Post reports.
So, “let’s see what happens,” is where we’re currently at with Twitter. Although we’ll have a more clearer picture with this in the coming days, anyone planning on placing bets at this point should probably hold. It’s my hope that amongst all of the weird and suspect things that Musk is involved in (like eventually turning people into cyborgs and holding large government defense contracts), that his motives in this circumstance are genuine. Leveling the playing field on the largest and most comprehensive social media platform would be a game changer for conservatives on so many levels. Having the ability to fairly combat the radical, progressive agenda, over hyped public health and safety narratives, the indoctrination of our nation’s children and the constant spin regarding all things geopolitical is our largest deficit at the moment. Sometimes just echoing a non-leftist counter narrative can lead to a suspension or expulsion from the battlefield. A complete rebranding of Twitter as a fair and leveled platform is not a game changer, it is the game changer, and is something that I anticipate that Elon Musk can snap into existence sometime soon.
• Steak for Censored
Navigating the multiverse of conservative politics can be at the end of the day, discouraging to say the least. Facing the threat of constant (guest rejection), going up against larger, more established apparatuses (yes, we mean you, Steve Bannon) and balancing what we’re producing twice a week (while maintaining actual jobs, kids, families, etc.) can be stressful enough. Imagine being a part of everything we have outlined throughout this op-ed so far and at the end of the day and after all your hard work, no one can even hear your voice? It’s been affecting our podcast since the moment we gained any traction and has little to do with our actual product. If you haven’t guessed it by now, we’re talking about the censorship that has repressed our voice, minimized our message and narrative, marginalized our A-list slate of guests. As we fight to the opportunity to be seen and heard, Big Tech has shadow banned, left us featureless and even cancelled us repeatedly without a single violation. Let’s run down the numbers:
• Twitter: Currently on account number 8 (@steakforpodcast). Since the show began 2.5 years ago, and any time we’ve been followed or shared by larger accounts in conservative politics, our account is disabled (without a strike or violation) and we lose the ability to regularly interact with the politicians, news personalities and influencers who followed us on the platform. All of account features are limited or turned down to the lowest degree and we can no longer act as a news media outlet via the professional option.
• Instagram: Currently on account number (@steakforpodcastbreakfast as the main) 2, 3 and 4. The original Steak for Breakfast account was nuked on 7/4/21 at 12k followers (how patriotic of them) in what has commonly become a random purge event on the platform. Once we began to rebuild our followership (starting at 758) we crested at 8k in October of 2021 before IG pumped the breaks and locked down our account, disabling the ability to see us via shadowbanning. Without nuking it from the platform and regardless of our guests or content our account has been unable to add any followers since (currently at 8089 followers) October of last year.
• GETTR: Still on account number one, (@stkforbreakfast) however, we may as well not have an account on this platform at all. Regardless of what we share, who follows us, or who we tag our GETTR account has had zero interactions, impressions or views.
Telegram: Our channel has not been nuked here yet, @SteakforBreakfastPodcast however, we have it generally as a backup landing pad (for future nukings) and really only share news and articles that don’t make the Final Cut or have audio clips that are too long to play on the podcast.
Truth Social: Still on account number one here, @SteakforBreakfast as we navigate through the beta rollout and the growing pains of the new Trump-backed platform. It’s been a very slow, painful and GETTR-like process getting the ball rolling on this platform. We jumped out early to approx. 200 followers and then the interactions just died. Then two weeks after we shared a audio post from when Amanda Milius and Kash Patel were on our podcast got re-truth-ed, and went viral. That glitch in the TS matrix continues to be shared dozens of times a day and currently has our account up to 1.75k followers (because of it). Aside from that one instance, we are seeing no interactions, likes, shares or impressions other than the viral Kash and Amanda clip while using Truth Social.
• Facebook: Never liked it, don’t prefer it and will never use it for the show for the fear that someday they will contact trace a Steak for Breakfast account back to my real world one and nuke all of my younger years, wedding and kid pics from the platform.
So, as you can clearly see, although we remain active on the battlefields, we are essentially posting and sharing on social media to ourselves and the small number of loyal followers of our show who actively seek us out across the various apps and share our content. Even when they do, that reach is extremely limited. It has become a literal plateau for the Steak for Breakfast Podcast (to have to ratio comments of verified accounts with links to our podcast or Substack)and we are actively seeking new avenues to finally break free from the chains of the social media censor mafia (they hate it when you call them that btw).
• A Collaborative Solution
At the end of the day, the best thing we can do is in my opinion is to remain laser focused and continue our networking in an attempt to hopefully bring the biggest names on the business together. Although it may seem like a daunting task, due to creative control, personalities, egos, money, and direction I feel that in my heart, it can be done. One of those names that comes quickly to mind is Vish Burra (Logan Group, LLC) and now the executive producer of Common Ground Studios. I feel very fortunate to have crossed paths with Vish and been able to grow a better than solid relationship with him, and not just on a professional level. Between his brilliant workings on Steve Bannon’s War Room and Matt Gaetz’s Firebrand Podcast, Vish taken two ideas and turned them into gold. Part of his next venture will be a complete relaunch of all things related to Raheem Kassam, which is both exciting and long overdue to say the least. We have had some solid interactions with Raheem via our show and I can only hope that in the future we are afforded more opportunities to do so and in a more collaborative function for sure.
We have been on the War Room radar for some time now and since we have already hosted 3/5 of the original cast (Navarro, Kassam and Epshteyn) we can only assume that as we continue to grow and polish the rough edges around the Steak for Break Podcast that we will work more exclusively with Bannon’s team and build a stronger relationship based off of what we both bring to the table via our shows.
The gang down at Human Events, which is currently going through a massive rebranding and expansion themselves have recently crossed our paths and all indications are that our relationship with the oldest conservative outlet in America is strong and has the potential to allow us to reach and share their massive base of young republicans nationwide. When you have a brain trust at the top that consists of, Jack Posobiec, Charlie Kirk, Chris Barron, Brent Hamachek and now Jeff Webb - the amount of reach between the bunch (its millions and millions) is nothing short of incredible.
Over the past year, I have developed a really strong and beneficial relationship with Mr. Michael Johns, the co-founder of the Tea Party. Michael is a human trove of information that has worked in several administrations, served under U.S. Presidents, had involvement in portions of the Reagan Doctrine, worked alongside the 9/11 Commission and led one of the biggest conservative revivals this country has even known. Johns was also a day one Trump supporter and has championed Trump-era policies, knowing that the things that he founded in the creation of the Tea Party evolved into the MAGA movement and to this day is alive and well as the lifeblood of nationalist populism.
You can’t mention Save America without referencing Christina Bobb. She has assumed the role of attorney for the Save America organization and is serving the 45th President of the United States via the Mar-a-Lago Office. Noah, Antoinette and I have built a really strong friendship with Christina, who has been since the beginning, one of Donald Trump’s most loyal and dedicated supporters. Even as her roles have changed over the years, first as a high-ranking U. S. Department of Homeland Security official, then as a journalist with One America News and now back into the legal arena like when she was a JAG while serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. in her current role working for the President, if Christina is guilty of anything, it’s how hard she rides for MAGA.
As you can clearly see, we have a strong and diverse base of friends, contacts and pseudo-coworkers who we are all currently comingling with in the political area. That goes without saying that we haven’t really deep dove into the strong bonds we have made with all of the amazing America First candidates running for Governors, Senators, and U.S. House seats in the 2022 midterm elections. We aren’t scraping the surface on the ways that we have paired with Matt Braynard, Noor Bin Ladin, Darren Beattie, Kash Patel, Amanda Milius, Erica Knight, and others because these relationships are new, yet they are all very promising “works” in progress.
Now that these relationships exist and are growing by the week, the biggest question I often ponder is how can we take them to the next level? Maybe not the relationships themselves but develop a way to better bring all of these major forces together to forge the greatest conservative collective conceivable (Avengers Assemble, anyone?). It is really not that farfetched, if you consider it. A lot of these individuals or organizations have in the past or currently, and in one way or another either crossed paths or worked directly as a unit. If you want to tie it directly into the theme of the article which has some very Marvel-like undertones, then look at the difference between the Avengers Infinity War and Endgame movies.
The theme of Infinity War was that an unstoppable force was headed Earth’s way with its intent on erasing half of all living things. If you compare that to the radical progressive lefts agenda, sprinkle it with some global green energy policies, and simmer it with eventual blockchain technology and a global digital currency as proposed by the group over at Davos, the intent is not far off of the movie script. So how did the heroes decide that they would stop this impending threat? By splitting up and using the divide and conquer method, which by end of the movie proved to not only expose all of their individual faults when they failed to work collectively to stop the threat but allowed for massive failure, a la what happed to all of us leading up to the 2020 Presidential Election and concluded on the events of January 6th.
In the Avengers Endgame film, I see a lot of correlations that can materialize into conservative politics in this version of the multiverse that we are in presently occupying. By the end of the film, all of the snapped and scattered heroes swallowed their pride, formulated ways to correct the errors of the past (of course I am not talking about a time heist), and eventually pooled their resources to go on and save the universe. It seems simple enough, and with a little hard work and continued dedication I feel that a goal such as that may be attainable. But for the time being, we will remain on the front lines of the social media battlefield (no matter how many accounts that it takes) and behind the mics on the Steak for Breakfast Podcast. And rest assured, that we will continue to work on your behalf to try and bring everyone together and get this country moving back in the right direction again.
