No Quarter 🏴☠️
Battle lines are being drawn as the Republican Primary heats up ahead of the summer. Many influencers and pundits are learning the harsh reality of chasing money and turning your back on America First
The textbook definition of “no quarter” reads as such: no pity or mercy —used to say that an enemy, opponent, etc., is treated in a very harsh way.
The time is now for America First to adopt this ideology for the 2024 Republican Presidential Primary Season.
For far too long, and almost to a fault, everyone within the MAGA movement, from its clearly defined leader, President Donald J. Trump down to the unpaid, and often times, obscure social media influencers and podcast hosts have been too easily willing to allow those who betray us, back into our family.
Those who have walked away from Making America Great Again to chase money and power, influence and dominion over those who chose to weather the storm and remain loyal to the 45th President and to the cause we took up the mantle for back in 2015.
Yes, Buck Sexton, Clay Travis, Dave Rubin, and Jenna Ellis we are talking to you.
On a recent edition of the Steak for Breakfast Podcast, Donald Trump Jr. took credit for making a lot of these influencers and pundits and eluded to the extensive work that he did on the ground for Florida Governor, Ron DeSantis in the 2018 election cycle, stating “At least now, we know exactly who they are.”
But the days of one liners and poorly crafted memes like were used in the first Meme War of 2015 have all but faded into the cyber abyss. Many politicians, pundits and social media powerhouses are still just gathering their footing (and followers) after Elon Musk purchased the platform back from the Administrative State last year.
The memes these days are of studio quality and the real America First meme team dishes them out on a sometimes hourly basis.
Still to this day, Donald Trump has yet to grace us with just one spicy tweet.
Although we can’t be certain that we’ll ever get a tweet commentating on things like taco bowls, Rosie O’Donnell or Bernie Madoff’s nipples ever again, America First remains hopeful.
As the 2024 Republican Presidential Primary field materializes and takes shape we are gaining a better focus of just who is on board, who’s thinking of jumping ship and who exactly wasn’t ever really America First to begin with.
Recently, former Trump surrogate and longtime, daily contributor on Steve Bannon’s, War Room Podcast, Steve Cortes announced that he was all in — for Florida Governor, Ron DeSantis if and when he decides to make his candidacy official in the 2024 Presidential race.
While the move may have shocked some, those close to the Trump campaign knew that Cortes was bitter about being excluded from portions of Gala Season down at Mar-a-Lago and that he was being passed up on for primary-related outreach duty, similar to roles he held in previous election races.
If you take into consideration that this past winter Cortes was often seen paling around South Beach with several members of the Ron DeSantis backed, and Christina Pushaw directed, online astroturfing team that we’ve tabbed the Florida Paid Influencer Industrial Complex, his this week move didn’t surprise us.
So the ends do justify the means, and in turn, don’t let the door hit you on the way out, Mr. Cortes, we can assure you the grass won’t be greener in Tallahassee.
Now more than ever, the Trump Team is watching, listening and reading our side’s every move. Prominent online accounts and even those with a little less of a digital footprint report back to the inner-circle of Trump’s orbit inciting the next round of excommunicados as was the case with Steve Cortes.
Maybe if the gang over at the War Room had listened to the chatter online this past winter, then Steve Bannon wouldn’t be running around doing damage control right now for his audience who is obviously feeling a bit betrayed by Cortes today.
Which leads into the fact that discernment this go around, in what is most likely will be Donald Trump’s final political act in his attempt reclaim the Oval Office is tuned higher now than it’s ever been before.
The Trump Team is making a list, they’re checking it twice and they are ensuring that those who are embarking down this road with the former president are in it to win it for the American people and the MAGA movement.
There can be no missteps as there was in years past. Leaning on Paul Ryan and Christ Christie recommendations, former Cruz Crew staffers and being pressured into Deep State appointees for major campaign and eventual government positions can not happen during a second Trump term.
And I firmly believe there won’t be.
Settling in now, and in preparation for the journey to the Republican nomination, America First relishes in our early campaign victories both in the polls and in the news cycle but understand that the largest challenges in this race still lie ahead.
With the debate schedule currently still up in the air and several candidates including former Vice President, Mike Pence and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis still reluctant to make it official, all we can do is continue to hammer home the policy points of Agenda 47 and identify the dissenters who will never have a job within the MAGA Movement ever again.
Quite frankly, if you weren’t going to support President Trump when his home at Mar-a-Lago was being raided, or as he’s being dragged in and out of courtrooms, is facing a ridiculous Dept. of Justice led, Special Counsel and already has the establishment GOP machine lining up to slow him down, then we don’t want you.
Loyalty means everything in this race. If you fail to comprehend that this job requires a lot of hard work and a spine, then you’ll see no mercy from President Trump and the America First movement.
As a matter of fact, as former Deputy Director of the DNI, Kash Patel has so eloquently stated on a recent episode of the Steak for Breakfast Podcast, “Fuck it, no quarter for the lot of them, this time.”
Outstanding article again, Rone. I agree 100%. Loyalty means everything. It’s what the defense of our republic requires more than any other virtue. If the cause is just, it requires loyalty to succeed. Go easy on Steve Bannon though. There is no more fierce of a MAGA warrior than Steve.
I agree with all this but also agree that dumping on Bannon isn’t necessary. Great article Rone!!
