The Most Hidden Statistics Down on the U.S. Southern Border
With suicides and line of duty deaths skyrocketing in DHS, Joe Biden, Alejandro Mayorkas and their Administrative State counterparts must be held accountable for their reckless, open borders agenda.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has been a disaster since the Biden Regime assumed control of the White House, enabling former head of the U.S. Center for Immigration Services (CIS) Alejandro Mayorkas to be confirmed to run the parent apparatus (DHS). The Cuban-born Mayorkas, who is now sending fleeing Cuban (and potentially Republican voting) asylum seekers back to Cuba has come under fire by agents, officers and the unions who represent them, both sides of the mainstream media (MSM) and most recently incoming House Republicans who two weeks ago issued Mayorkas an ultimatum to either step down or face inquiry that could lead to impeachment by January 3rd of 2023. Most of this narrative stem from a complete tear down of Trump-era policies (Title-42 and MPP for starters) which saw our U.S. Southern Border at its most secure status in decades compared to its current state with the reimplementation of catch and release (on steroids) that’s allowed for anywhere between 2.3 million and 5+ million mostly economic migrants to enter the U.S. unabated since 2021. ICE is currently operating at all-time lows; with removals and deportations for FY 2021-2022 down over 90% from the numbers at height of the Trump Administration.
But there is a much darker side to this narrative, one that doesn’t have to do anything with drugs, especially fentanyl, human, sex and child trafficking or lack of logging any data about who or what is coming into the United States. It’s rarely ever discussed or given enough attention and involves the men and women of the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol; the agents, officers and personnel tasked with securing our borders. It’s blood-soaked stain of a narrative that failed leadership by agency heads Mayorkas (DHS), Chief Ortiz at the U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) and recently resigned Commissioner Magnus at U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) have left on those who protect our homeland and their families in its wake.
Since the implementation of the Privacy Act of 1974, the federal government has been able to conceal and skew the number of suicides and line of duty deaths especially when related to the aforementioned agencies. However raw data will show that this year alone, Border Patrol suicides have spiked, now surpassing an all-time high previously set in 2009 (17). Combine that with, and since the start of the covid-19 pandemic, deaths categorically classified as “line of duty” (at least 73 this year alone amongst the frontline personnel) have led to astronomical numbers of fatalities, the likes we have never seen.
When the rest of country shuttered under the pandemic closure protocols, the jobs at the Department of Homeland Security, especially those serving on the U.S. Southern Border never slowed, the workload exploded under the economic migrant invasion facilitated by the Biden Regime. Hundreds of thousands (now in the millions) migrants crossed and gained admittance to the U.S., often without health screenings, vetting or vaccinations (from all the diseases of the third world, not just covid). These exposures all while being turned into a glorified welcoming and (migrant) processing committee by the Biden Regime and Mayorkas’ policies crushed morale throughout the agencies consequently led to a spike in suicide rates and of course, “line of duty deaths pertaining to complications due to covid-19.” United States Public Law 116-157 was enacted during the pandemic, so that anyone who worked as a first responder or was law enforcement during covid-19 that contracted the virus, regardless of where or how and then later died from complications was categorized as a “line of duty death.” Without remorse, Biden Regime doubled down on crushing the agencies who Donald Trump publicly endorsed, empowered and promoted. Under exhausting conditions, agents and officers who utilized sick, vacation or admin. time were threatened with consequences up to and including termination. The same punitive ultimatums were given across DHS regarding the covid vaccination, still to this day many agents, officers and administrative staff are fighting in lieu of termination proceedings, even after the military requirements were lifted last week.
Things became so bad that every time Mayorkas was called before Congressional oversight or appropriations committees, he would deflect negative press and morale lowering narratives internally by awarding free “admin. day” hours across the agencies as a thanks for essentially not quitting or leaking to the media what ground zero at DHS had really become. Over time, Mayorkas has been tabbed by agents, officers, managers and admin staff alike, the “Santo Mayorkas, the Patron Saint of Admin. Leave” and has been meme’d everywhere from twitter to DHS computer desktops since.
Too many agents, officers, admin. and support staff died during the pandemic, many because of forced exposure pandemic-related illnesses with the migrant spike and many more than historically acceptable numbers would reflect due to suicide. You could lump those statistics together even argue that since 2019 and across the spectrum of federal law enforcement that more personnel have died than nearly the ten years prior combined.
An officer from Customs and Border Patrol, Air and Marine was killed in a gunfight with the Cartel trying to interdict narcotics trafficking suspects off the coast of Puerto Rico two weeks. Three other agents were injured in the shootout, one critically and the MSM has been all but silent in reporting it. This week, another Border Patrol Agent was died when his ATV crashed pursuing migrants and their Cartel smugglers who had illegally crossed the border in Texas (RGV).
All we have gotten from Congress to this point is virtue signaling and peddling, now with the talk of the massive Schumer / Sinema / Thillis amnesty bill on deck, while all we get from the press is talking points between the periods of silence, ignorance and cover up. It’s in between these moments that we have lost some of the finest men and women of Customs and Border Patrol to the ultimate (albeit sometimes selfish) sacrifice.
The Biden White House has still failed publicly address the two most recent Customs and Border Patrol deaths, one was murdered by the Cartel and the other died pursuing Cartel members smuggling illegal aliens into the country. This regime continues to operate freely and without remorse for the disastrous policies that have dissolved our sovereignty and have cost American lives. With Congress is hyping up a bipartisan amnesty scheme that includes millions of already present, illegal aliens and the unconstitutionally protected DACA recipients. The longer we take to really address this crisis and the broken immigration system while working towards a plausible solution, the more likely we are to resemble some of the worst globalist migrant influx experiments on earth much like the U.K., France and Germany have devolved into today. The latter may appear distant in some instances and terrifying in others, but that reality is coming to America much faster than you think.
